If you have ever used a pressure cooker before, you know how annoying it is to keep track of the number of whistles. You start cooking, get a little distracted by work, and now you have no idea how many times the cooker has whistled.

That is why I created the Smart Whistle. To use the Smart Whistle, simply place the device on the cooker like a regular weight. On the companion app, click the on button to start counting. Each time the cooker whistles, the device sends you a notification with the current whistle count.

The smart whistle works by using an MPU-6050 accelerometer and a WiFi-connected microcontroller. When the accelerometer detects a large enough acceleration, the microcontroller executes a routine that sends push notifications.

With the Smart Whistle, you can forget about counting whistles and be free to focus on other activities.
