Autonomous Bird Deterrent System

Every year, birds cause millions of dollars of damage to crops and can introduce harmful parasites into our food supply. The goal of this project was to create a device that can accurately fire a burst of water at a bird and deter it from farmlands. Essentially, I had to build a 21st-century scarecrow.

Self Stabilizing Camera System

Designed a camera system that helps to stabilize spherical images from a 360 camera which can be used for tensegrity robot navigation.

Prosthetic Arm

Prosthetic Arm that has higher degree of freedom from special designed lateral finger joints. These joints enable complex grasping and finger movements to closer mimic a human hand.

Intake

The challenge for the 2018 FRC competition involved the manipulation of a 13" Power Cube (pictured on left). I designed this system to intake the cube from any orientation.

Sheet Metal Drivetrain

Fast, lightweight Sheet Metal drivetrain designed for FIRST Robotics Competition. Allows for easy manipulator mounting and has dual-speed gearboxes for speed and torque configurations.

Slider Crank Calculator

Programmed a calculator to model the movement of a slider-crank given the lengths and rotating speed of a mechanism. Performed engineering calculations for parametric modeling of the system.

Smart Whistle Counter

Designed a smart kitchen gadget to track pressure cooker whistles and alert a user on their smartphone with the current count.

Retrofit Touchless Faucet

Designed a retrofit product to convert regular faucets into motion sensor touchless ones. Directed at mass adoption during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Self Balancing Robot

Designed a self-balancing robot that uses an Arduino to balance on two wheels. Part of a UCR Research project to learn about control systems and electronics.

Gear Manipulator

Designed an entirely passive manipulator for the FIRST Robotics 2017 Challenge. This simple design played a huge role in our team's finalist position at the world championships.

Ball Shooter

Designed a Manipulator for the FIRST Robotics 2016 Challenge to shoot foam dodgeballs 10 feet into a basket.

Modeled a Formula 1 Race Car body to get a better understanding of Solidworks surfacing.
